2 straight games now….Love had 9 rebounds last game and now Davis 10 this game? Out rebounding our twin towers ? All against weak competition……things that make you go hhhhuuuummm.

Somebody need to sit with Bacot and Nance and have a heart to heart.

In addition Mondo just ain’t fighting for position or demanding the ball. I can’t blame the guards for not looking for him in THIS game because he is just not fighting for position. Now I’m wondering about his conditioning.

Bless RJ the Dribbler with a fiddle so he can figure out the riddle…..that one must not dribble and dribble because the shot clock will dwindle and dwindle.

Bless Styles with a pair of hands so he can catch the pass that lands directly into his tiny bad hands so no more will he fumble the ball again.

This team has never faced such tough competition. Can we handle it?

I want to think our guys have just been waiting for tougher competition to show their true colors, but who knows?

• RJ Davis led UNC with 10 rebounds. He added 14 points for the second double-double of his career. He had 15 points and 12 rebounds vs. Kansas in the 2022 national championship game.
• It was the first time a guard led the Tar Heels in rebounding since Caleb Love shared the team lead with Brady Manek (with six) in the home loss to Duke last season.

• Pete Nance had season highs in points (18), rebounds (five), three-pointers (3) and blocks (tied season best with three).
• Nance scored a season-high eight points in the first eight and a half minutes of the first half. He had 14 points, three rebounds and three blocks in the first 11 minutes.
• This was the 11th time in his career Nance made three or more 3FGs.

I haven’t seen an injury update on Antoine Green and am hoping he will be playing soon. I am curious about Andre Green. He was more highly rated than Josh Downs out of high school. I think I read that he was having back pain earlier in the season. Perhaps they are trying to preserve his redshirt. Is Andre available to play if Antoine is not?
