CBS SPORTS UNVEILS 2022-23 COLLEGE BASKETBALL SCHEDULE WITH MORE GAMES THAN EVER ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS
Schedule Features Nearly 300 Games, Highlighted by Marquee Programs, Top Conferences and Key Rivalry Games
12 Automatic Bids to the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments to be Awarded on CBS, CBS Sports Network and Paramount+
NCAA Men’s Final Four National Semifinals and National Championship to Air on CBS
CBS Sports has announced its 2022-23 college basketball regular-season schedule with more games than ever, featuring nearly 300 games across platforms on the CBS Television Network, CBS Sports Network and Paramount+. This year’s slate is highlighted by appearances from marquee programs – including 22 ranked teams from the Associated Press Men’s Preseason Top 25 Poll – and top conferences from across the nation, key rivalry games and Conference Tournament action, including 12 automatic bids to the 2023 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Tournaments.
Additionally, CBS Sports will broadcast the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, providing exclusive live coverage of every game in its entirety across CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV. This year marks CBS Sports’ 41st year broadcasting the Tournament, and the 11th year of the partnership. This year’s NCAA Men’s Final Four National Semifinals on
Saturday, April 1 and National Championship on
Monday, April 3 will air exclusively on CBS

CBS TELEVISION NETWORK & PARAMOUNT+
CBS Sports begins its 42nd consecutive season of college basketball coverage on
Saturday, Dec. 3 with a matchup between
Oklahoma and No. 16
Villanova at 12:30 PM, ET. All college basketball games broadcast on the CBS Television Network will be available to stream live on Paramount+.
Some of this year’s highlights include:
· A tripleheader – with five teams ranked in the Top 20 – on
Saturday, Dec. 17 beginning at 1:00 PM, ET with No. 2
Gonzaga taking on No. 20
Alabama leading into the ninth annual CBS Sports Classic doubleheader from Madison Square Garden in New York City. This year’s CBS Sports Classic will feature No. 1
North Carolina facing
Ohio State at 3:00 PM, ET followed by No. 8
UCLA versus No. 4
Kentucky.
· A total of 35 regular-season appearances by Top 25 teams, with 21 ranked schools represented on CBS, including nine Top 10 teams: No. 1

· In March, CBS Sports will present seven automatic bids to the NCAA Men’s Tournament, including four on CBS. For the 25th time, CBS Sports will present the
Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals (
Saturday, March 11) and Championship (
Sunday, March 12). The
Missouri Valley Championship will be decided on
Sunday, March 5 with the
Mountain West Championship (
Saturday, March 11) and
Atlantic 10 Championship (
Sunday, March 12) taking place the following weekend.
· INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL, CBS Sports’ pregame, halftime and postgame studio show will provide analysis, highlights, features and more throughout the season.
· CBS Sports and HBCU All-Stars LLC will present the
HBCU All-Star Game, a college basketball showcase featuring the best HBCU players in the country, on the Sunday of Final Four weekend (
April 2, 4:00 PM, ET) in the host city of Houston.
CBS SPORTS NETWORK
CBS Sports Network will televise 248 college basketball games this season, including eight conference championship games and more women’s games than ever before. The regular-season schedule features eight teams ranked in the AP Men’s Preseason Top 25 Poll, and 31 total appearances by those teams, including No. 2
Gonzaga and No. 3
Houston.
The Women’s schedule is highlighted by two appearances by
UConn, ranked sixth in the AP Women’s Preseason Top 25 Poll.
