According to dspn, Cade Tyson has scored a whopping 60 points so far this year. That's borderline criminal...or should be. Shooting less than 60% from free throw line. How can he suck so bad? I can shoot better than 60% using a fuggin 10lb bowling ball.

I hope its just a one year deal and he is saving his money. He wont get that again, at least not from us. Dude plays defense like he's in the sand at the beach. He so damn slooooooow.

I hate sample size playing time to begin with but had Hubert Found a Starting lineup and developed at the least chemistry things could be different..

Cade is in that Category “hey buddy we’re down 10 run out their ice cold from the bench and get me 2 quick 3s”…

He can't guard anyone. Not wings. Not stretch 4s. Not PFs. And when both teams are running in transition, he looks like he has lead weights on his ankles. Including his time at Belmont, he's never shot well against a high major basketball team.

So why did all the recruiting websites list him as a top transfer? Why did UNC, UK, and Tennessee pursue him? He quite literally fooled everybody. Coaches from multiple top programs, recruiting analysts... they were all deceived by his 3pt percentage against low major teams, and they drastically overestimated what he could do in a major conference.

Hubert, unfairly, gave up on Cade early. He didn't want to develop and coach him up.. He thought it was "plug n play". He seems to be giving up on Ian, game to game also. Quick to put a player at the end of the bench instead of allowing the player to play there way out of any kind of slump. Hubert's lack of patience is also the issue with his knee jerk type of rotation. No consistency. Players don't know what to expect game to game.

Hubert hasn't given up on Ian. He's kept Ian on the floor longer than he deserves the past couple games. Did you see that stretch in the last game where Ian lost his man on D, Drake saved the day with a block, the ball bounced right into Ian's hands but instead of grabbing the rebound he tried to catch and dribble it with one hand and fumbled it directly to an opponent? Then on the next offensive possession Ian got the ball knocked off his leg and made no effort to chase after it even though he had plenty of time to get it? Roy Williams would have sent Ian to the locker room, or at the very least chewed him out on the bench for giving such poor effort. Dean Smith would have him running the bleachers until he puked.

Cade can't defend anyone, he can't keep up in transition, and he can't make shots unless the opponent is a low major team. He's on the bench because that is where he belongs. His situation and Ian's are in no way similar. Ian has proven he can play at this level, he's just in a funk and needs to give more effort. Tyson's effort has never been in doubt, he simply can't play at this level.
