Quick stuff (dook game)...

I'm fully aware. Since you don't want to answer Ray turned it over more times per game every year he was at UNC than EC has this year, and twice as much per game as EC last year. Want to suggest he didn't have vastly superior coaching and talent to play with? How about the fact that they had a plan on offense when he was there? And again my biggest beef is with singling out a player this way in what is supposed to be a better culture than the average program. To your point it's punching down and totally uncalled for.
Here is the massive difference to me. Ray never did not have a 2 to 1 assist to turnover ratio at UNC. Elliot to this point has never reached that basic good point guard standard.

That does not even consider that Ray scored !!!! Always finished, became really solid 3ball. A bucket, while 2:1 point assist man.

Yes, for me he can speak on it, cause Ray was a little bully! Little strong fella who would attack, developed a three, dee'ed up , and always was 2:1 assist to turnover.

70-70 tied with Illinois in 2005, Ray, with ice water in his veins, drills the game deciding 3. I’m a big time Elliott Cadeau fan, but he’s nowhere near Ray Felton level yet. Not sure Ray should be throwing shade at a fellow Tar Heel, but he does have a resume’ that speaks for itself, maybe he can say what he wants, as can Tyler Hansbrough.

Fair. With that said, there is a stark contrast in the way to the two players played while on the floor and the way they carried themselves. Ray was a DAWG. A never-back-down kind of player that did whatever he had to do. A guy that learned and got exponentially better as a player from year one to year two and from year two to year three. I have not seen the same level of commitment from Cadeau. Granted, he's lacking in talent around him and he's lacking in coaching. Ray had the benefit of May, McCants, Marv, Jawad, Jackie and Melvin and of course Roy steering the ship. Cadeau is certainly at a disadvantage in that regard. But c'mon, no one can tell me that Elliot has the same mental make up as Ray. He'll never have it. And it's because of the era in which he's playing. Ray was the number 2 recruit nationally in some rankings and still felt the need to prove himself. These guys today aren't built that way.
Oh man without a doubt I wasn’t putting them in the same boat. I do think EC has the commitment and works hard. Just doesn’t come as easy for some guys. The lack of talent around him is less for sure and coaching….cricket cricket cricket lol
