Agreed. It would be nice to get one. I think this team is similar to the basketball "redeem team" from 2017. After what happened last year, I think we're locked in. Anything can happen in the CWS, but I think we've got a good shot to win it.

I feel like the pairings are a real gut-punch since the two ranked teams in our bracket have to play each other. Even worse, it's the Beavers, who beat UNC in back-to-back championship series in the mid-2000s.
The importance of winning the first game can't be stressed enough. It's just way too hard to come out of the losers' bracket and win 4 games in 6 days to advance to the championship. Whoever wins their first 2 games is in great shape and gets a 4-day rest before facing whoever advances out of the losers' bracket.

Agreed that it is extremely important to win the first game, but I'm not scared of OSU. I think we can beat them.
That's fine. People have been underrating us all postseason. It's working out alright so far.
10 seems low. Guess they are counting on their pitcher to be on top of his game. Maybe they should have asked stetson's top ranked staff how last week went for them.
