There are multiple stats there. Would it make you feel less wrong if I said stat and the stats that make up that stat? Regardless, WAR is a far better stat to use than what you posted. Cute uninformed effort though.

Trout will probably win it again. He's the popular choice. Just like he did in 2016 when Mookie was again more deserving (granted, Trout had better stats that year but was on a team that finished 21 games out of its division which should have DQ'd him from the race).
