Quarterbacks are always popular topics of discussion so here's a nice nugget: 2018 quarterback Holton Ahlers of Conley H.S. in Greenville, N.C., visited UNC late last week. He already has an offer from ECU. Picked it up before Lincoln Riley left for Oklahoma and the Pirates are still honoring the offer. He's going to get some major action. Ahlers already has great size at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, and he runs a sub-4.7 second 40-yard dash.
He loved his trips to both UNC and NC State and plans to camp in Chapel Hill this summer. This kid's going to be big. Loves the offense at UNC, too. He did grow up at ECU fan.
