Serious question. I've seen the trolling above about RFK in general and the implication he wants diseases such as polio to be allowed to again attack our populace. In these very same pages, I have talked about his oddities and weirdness factor with regard to the whole bear in Central Park thing. However, other than him not playing ball by supporting Biden and choosing to primary him, then go independent, what has he really done or said that makes you so dismissive of him?
And, just to be clear, I'm not referring to the general campaign talking point claims of things like he is anti-vaccine, etc. That's no different from claiming orange is a racist because he talked about very fine people who are white supremacists - a media fabrication. He is definitely an odd duck, but that doesn't make him wrong about the relationship between big pharma/big agriculture and our health and food.
@blazers and I had a discussion about this awhile back where it had been pointed out that the pesticide levels in UK food were way too high, particularly compared to the rest of Europe which had resulted after their withdrawal from the EU who has different standards. How is this type of look at this stuff and the perspective of questioning what we are putting into our bodies not a good thing? Crazy or not.
One last thing, I recognize that he is persona non grata for the D's and anyone who supports them at this point, but RFK was one of the finalists for Obama's cabinet and almost got appointed as head of the FDA. Am I supposed to believe he just went bat shit after he didn't get appointed?
