I hate close calls and missed opportunities as much as the next person, but as long as we keep winning, dook will evetually lose. So I'm not too worried about it.
Turns out a 4th. Javin hooked and held on the rebound also on what is a reviewable foul too.3 blantanly missed calls in the last 15 seconds. A charge on Zion,a push in the back on Barrett and Trey Jones fouling at will on the drive.
but incompetent/biased officials are notthe dookies are very beatable!

I'm not worried about the officials. UCF had plenty of chances to put the dookies away. There were some bad calls, and no-calls, but UCF could have won despite those variables, but they didn'tbut incompetent/biased officials are not
They made the plays necessary to win. They had the game taken away from them by incompetent officials. It happens. it happened. We all wanted dook to lose but think about those boys on UCF. Against all odds, and against the best player to ever play the game, they made the plays only to have the game taken away from them. That's mho.I'm not worried about the officials. I don't buy that. They had calls go their way, too. They didn't make enough plays to win. If they had, they would have won. Opinions are fine. The ball just didn't drop at the very end. They made the plays necessary to win. They had the game taken away from them by incompetent officials. It happens. it happened. I just don't agree with "should have won" a game. You either win, or you don't. The parameters for winning and losing are absolute, or very close to absolute.Every call/break went Duke's way in the last minute. Just for perspective the complaints sound an awful lot like when we snuck out a second round win against Arkansas after a questionable no charge call. UCF had them as did Arkansas have us . Was rooting hard for UCF, and they should have won, but didn't, much like the Arkansas game in our last title run.

I was surprised they didnt review it. That was the first thing i saw
Point taken with the "should have won". The way I'm trying to use it was they snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. It was there for them, they had multiple plays to be made and some "bang bang" calls go against them in the final minute, but make just one of them or get one and they win. So had every opportunity is probably better then "should of".I just don't agree with "should have won" a game. You either win, or you don't. One more this season, if it happens, would make 4 not 5. Genius.Mostly, I’d like to give you all credit for focusing on UNC, and not Duke. Hopefully, we’ll see you again. We’ve never played five times in one season.
I know scheduling the NCAAT is difficult, but how odd is it that two teams from Virginia - that are in the EAST regional - are playing each other in Cali?

Luck always runs out.Dook seems to have a horseshoe up their butts
I remember Tyler getting shoved in the back like that by Plumlee on a rebound and there was a whole different reaction on here. I guess it only applies when it happens to us.I have to admit I think the refs bailed dook out, 3 missed calls in the last minute or so and all went dook’s way. Coincidence?

As he should. Unfortunately, it doesn’t change the outcome.Greenberg lighting the officials up on ZSPN right now. Missed an obvious hook and hold from Javin and a push in the back by RJ on Zions free throw
The LOM’s meltdown would have been epic.
But they would have continued with the Zion cam though. "Here is Zion sleeping. Here he is picking his nose while walking to the bathroom. This is him scratching his butt after coming back from the bathroom. Right now he is eat some fruity pebbles." "Yes, Kenny, isn't he amazing?"That's why I was most angry they won.
Every single news outlet, podcast, story would have been about them losing and Zion getting 2 tournament games before he bolted to the NBA.
I looked forward to watching, listening, reading, consuming, etc. every single one of those.
It is the most chalky in a very long time. The best teams are left in the tourney. Kentucky and Dook were supposed to lose, both deserved to lose. Here's hoping both get bounced this week.Is this the most chalky that the sweet 16 has ever been? Oregon (12) is the only double-digit seed, and Auburn (5) is the only other that's not seeded 1 thru 4.
Auburn could've easily lost in first game if that NMSU dude attempts a wide-open layup instead of kicking it out for a three. It is the most chalky in a very long time. 3 of their last 6 wins were by 1 point, where the opponent missed shots at the end to win. Those lucky bastages can't keep this up (at least I hope the hell not). Man, I hate those sumbitches.Luck always runs out.
And, the Giant-Killers that they're hyped as being should NEVER be coming down to that luck-of-the-draw ending so frequently.Dook has had 3 games in last 7 go down to opponent missing decent/good looks at the basket (Wake, UNC in tourny and UCF) in literally the last seconds. Avoid the careless to's and hit decent % from 3 and anyone has a chance.
...like 5 of the 6 top stories on ESPN college BB site. And Roy on Saturday gets asked some questions in his press conference about Zion and Duke - who aren't even in UNC's region, pod, etc. he answered them fine, but he would be justified in saying "ask me about my team and my opponents, or people in our pod".So, I go to Zspn to look at Auburn's schedule, stats, etc. and all you see is that ginourmous head every page you go to. gawd almighty....
