I don't think there are really any surprises here. I can't remember the last time a UNC player was voted preseason player of the year. Hopefully Sam ends the season as player of the year. Nice to see Ezeudu and Grimes up there too.

If Sam is POY then we're almost certainly in the ACCCG. I think we'll see even more guys getting preseason honors next year though.

ETA: ESPN preseason power ranking show has us at #10. Seems pretty reasonable to me.
