Bacot, me he looks way more prepared for the season than he did at this point last season. Did have to chuckle, in each of our last 2 games the rim blocked his shot (and yes it was because his feet got tangled, being graceful is maybe not his best gift) LOL.
RJ has looked, maybe not the right word but like he is more in charge, more like the guy? I think as long as Caleb was here he struggled with being "that guy", that title seemed to be given to Caleb and I think that made RJ feel "some kind of way". It is like he can be more himself now and not feel like the little brother, maybe feels more like Batman than Robin now?
With Ingram backing down in the paint, I would have them (with Bacot) on opposite sides of the basket with Bacot boding his defender but if that defender gets around him Ingram slips it to Bacot, if Bacot gets his defender on his back (using his butt) slip it to Bacot anyway. I don't know how much backing down Ingram will be able to do in league play because they are going to hedge him toward the middle of the paint and drop strippers down on him. But if our guards move as the stripper drops Ingram should be able to find a guard with a wide open look and that is frankly what he is looking for anyway. You watch him from last season that was his go to, back em down until a stripper committed and find the open guard or the slip to a big. After all, what is better than a committed stripper? LOL

1. Bacot is still a plodder and even though he has developed better physically (which he should have) he still has ZERO offensive repertoire and very limited athleticism/elevation and will need serious help on D when UNC starts playing against the better and bigger 5's in ACC/D1 play.
2. Cadeau needs to start with RJ 2 games ago. RJ is not a PG and plays so much better off the ball. Everyone on the UNC team will be better the more time they spend on the floor with EC because they need to be hit in the head with a couple of his passes so they will know to keep their eye on him when he's got the ball.
3. Cadeau is a true PG. he keeps his head up and is most always moving forward and probing the defense to make them react to him and that dude can get to where he wants to go FAST. UNC folks will be really glad he came here especially if stays a couple years. Would love to see EC, Jackson, Drake Powell, Washington and High on the court together next season.
4. There is obvious quality depth this season .. thank you captain obvious !!
5. Washington needs to get more minutes. That dude has got some serious length and he needs to get the chance to gain confidence in his body and develop his defensive posture because he may be the key to mitigating the Flipoffkowski's and taller bigs in the NCAA. I know it's early but I would be giving Washington and High more PT.
