A Little visit...

Little did say he already had a school in mind. It's either us or Arizona. Lol all the dookies on 24/7 say he's going to Arizona.

Can only hope we get him. We need someone of his caliber for next year.

Isn't it so pathetic that they are so butthurt about the title that all of their writers picked Arizona while literally every other writer from various sites picked UNC.

These days going out on a recruiting/prediction limb with an elite prospect can be rather shaky... but from everything I've heard thru the grapevine that "one school" on his mind would be us.

It's hysterical that literally all of the AZ picks are Duke writers and everyone else is UNC.

It did raise my eyebrows lol. Meyer picked us, the Kentucky guys picked us, but not them. Whatever, it's not as if they're struggling getting anyone they want.

I tend to give Meyer a bit more credit over the other guys. So that definitely carries some merit IMO.

Wouldn't be so sure. And I don't think it's Arizona either.
 
The offer to Little from Dook still makes zero sense to me. Even as a subversion tactic. He's got at least 2 multi-year SFs with Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett on deck. What does K expect to accomplish?

It seems more likely to me that one Duke writer has a piece of Little to Arizona info that he shared with the other Duke writers. That info may be wrong, but that's a more reasonable explanation than "Duke writers are picking against UNC because they're jealous".

Interesting... so this Dook writer has intel that neither Jerry Meyer or any other of the national analyst were privy to? Okay...
 
The "jealous" thing (not sure how to classify it) really isn't anything new. You've seen it from some of our writers too. PJ Washington had still had a bunch of UNC picks when it was pretty clear where he was going. And there are cases they've picked against the grain.

We've lost quite a few close recruiting battles to Arizona before. So perhaps some are just basing it off experience. Or maybe it's closer than some of us believe. Wouldn't be the first time.

Just let Roy work.

Recruiting guys have connections and hear things. They don't always have the same sources. Sometimes different guys hear different things. That's super common in football, but it happens in basketball, too.

Like I said, their intel might not even be accurate. I don't know. But one of them probably heard something.

Looks like the Duke guys had this one nailed when everyone was laughing at them knowing Arizona had this in the bag. For what its worth, Andrew Slater is one of the best in the recruiting business - the Duke guys followed his lead I am sure.

On the one hand, a Duke fan coming here to dig up an old thread is kinda silly.

On the other hand, the whole "Duke analysts are picking Arizona to spite UNC" idea was also silly.
