SMU's Scott Symons is a nominee for this year's Broyles Award. He was DC for Liberty and did a very good job there as well. Of course, SMU boosters are now clearly willing to pony up fortunes to compete in football. So as long as they want Symons, he may be there unless some HC job he wants comes calling.
