Right now, this scenario seems highly unlikely. However, as Tar Heel fans and ACC fans for that matter, the impossible is always possible. I was thinking about end of season scenarios, and this one came to mind as a complete DISASTER!
1. UNC wins out to finish the season 11-1 with only 1 loss to South Carolina.
2. Clemson is 11-0, going into their rivalry game with South Carolina.
3. South Carolina somehow beats Clemson, leaving them at 11-1 as well.
That would leave us with an ACC Championship game with two 11-1 teams with HORRIBLE losses to one of the worst teams in the SEC in 2015.
Again, odds are against it unfolding like this, but scary to think about it. I know the folks in Greensboro would rather not have to deal with a disaster like this!
