ACC games this weekend

Dook was bailed out with a bunch of pass interference calls on that last drive

Miami u suck letting dook score

That wasn't Miami's fault. They had an int waved off for PI, two other PIs and 8 extra seconds AND a chance to set (and Dool scored with 6 seconds)

HOLY SHIT

And the refs screw Miami again

Worst end of game screw job ever.

Holy shit

Swofford must have phoned the refs and told them it was too obvious to give it to Dook at that point

They called a block in the back and then reviewed it I didn't know u could review a penalty

Did you just watch this shit?
Dook has handed the game to Miami all night, and then was going to luck out.

The only positives about Sirk are that he runs between the tackles like a bull and he refuses to give in.

Amazing how people see Cutcliffe as some great QB guru. Other than 2 Mannings dropping on his lap, he has done almost nothing in terms of signing and developing QBs who are 1st rate.

As for Miami and the kick off - a Cane was down once, rather clearly, at about the Miami 25, and there was at least 1 obvious block in the back. Refs have a tendency to miss all kinds of things on such returns. The Cal players vs. Stanford in 82 (?) were down a couple of times.

That was a great outcome for UNC. We still need to beat the dookies next week, but otherwise I'm not sure they were going to take another loss this season.

Heels all alone in 1st place in the Coastal.

Look at the last minute of that game

-Miami int waved off for PI. Basically db jumped a slant, came up with the ball and refs called imterference. Terrible
-Miami called for PI on a pas that was uncatchable by any athlete ever
- Duke gets a 1st down at the two, clock keeps running and ref blows the play dead, allows Duke to set and puts 8 additional seconds on the clock because, according to the idiot, the clock should have stopped to move the chains to first and goal, where no chains actually exist
- Duke scores with 6 seconds left (and the ref gave them 8)

Dook will lose to Pitt on the road.

Saying "rather clearly" is an exaggeration, but after rewinding and watching in slow motion it did look like he was down before he lateralled the ball. Refs missed that one, even on the replay.

There was a line judge less than 10 feet from the guy looking straight at him- the only review we got was the shot from behind.

That's 2 weeks in a row I have watched amazing game endings live. What a great life!

Our offense 'can' put up points with the Tigers, but only if we take advantage of the passing game, using the WRs to maximum advantage.

Agreed. But at the same time we would need Hood to have a career night, and use better clock management to keep their offense off of the field.

I agree with our offense can put up points (but Clemson's defense still scares me), but I was more exclusively talking about our D versus their O. They are quick as lightning and their receivers block very well on screens and plays out wide. So our defense would definitely have to bring their A+ game and our offense would have to put it in the endzone and not settle for FG's.

Yeah it will probably be a rough night for our D. I think it would probably take a few big turnovers at the absolute perfect time but I still think we can beat them.

Watching the prevent defense from the past few games when we were up multiple scores with the game almost over, I'm pretty sure Chizik has the DB's just tackling the receivers unless they 100% can break up the play. If we can stop the big plays we could play with them, so I'm thinking it might not be a bad strategy on the deep balls for the entire game against them. 15 yards is still way better than 6 points. Unless our corners prove they can stick with those guys. I just don't see that happening though

That's what helped state stay in the game anyway. Clemson had a few terribly-timed fumbles.

I agree he did appear to be down. Oh well too bad

FSU won 45-21 after coasting much of the 2nd half, All the announcers discussed how and why they thought JImbo should start McGuire against Clemson. The consensus was: the offense is simply different with McGuire, who provides a real threat to pass deep with accuracy.
Holy shit. ACC refs actually got one right for a change.

There's going to be a riot in Derm, at least until they remember they have a really important exam to study for.
a 10 person riot??? dook sux the big one.
