The fewest UNC players I can ever recall, and three were one and done, two others were transfers into the program. Thoughts?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Seventy-seven alumni from current Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball programs are on Opening Day NBA rosters for the 2024-25 season, which begins Tuesday evening.

Seventeen of the 18 ACC programs have at least one former player on an NBA Opening Day roster, while nine schools boast at least three alumni on NBA rosters.

The ACC is represented on 27 of the 30 NBA rosters, with the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards boasting the most former players from ACC schools with six each.

Duke leads all ACC schools with 24 alumni on NBA rosters – second most of any program nationally. Virginia is represented by nine alumni on Opening Day rosters, while Florida State and North Carolina each have six.
