After only 3 possessions...

Skal is not good defensively and not strong enough. I said Plumlee might give him trouble but that's crazy.

I was thinking the same thing and they have no one that can create off the dribble if the 3's are not raining they are in trouble!

Allen isn't the same kind of world beater against actual size on the inside. Blocked twice.

Early in the game and year but uncharacteristically sloppy from both.

It's really ugly basketball to be honest right now. Allen rejected again. If he hits a few jumpers maybe they'll respect the drive more....

Without a PG who fan penetrate and kick, UK doesn't have to respect Duke when their guards do attempt to drive like you see with Allen. He's a talented scorer and good athlete but there's no way he's going to finish through all of those bodies. Lack of a true PG until Thornton develops.

I see he's still got his attitude and that pu$$y whiplash head move on his drives is disgusting. And Allen trying to guard PGs is an adventure. He attempted to guard Joel Berry when their teams played in HS and that didn't go well for him at all.

Yeah the head whip is really annoying and a just a sad tactic. Tyus did it a ton last year and even Duke fans have to see how annoying it is. Both teams will improve but the team basketball is just bad on both ends. Plumlee playing well though and Jones is a solid player.

Matt Jones has one ugly looking shot. Wasn't he suppose to be a sharp-shooter in HS . . ?

Jones is one of the few who plays D though, can't ask him to do too much but they have trouble creating off the dribble at all. Thornton probably not ready to play major minutes in a game like this.

Yeah he will be good with time but he wasn't even going to be in this class originally so I guess growing pains are expected. Did not see much of Ingram and Allen is almost shooting them out of the game but they're still close which they have to be happy about.

Ingram hasn't played a lick of D. And ain't it ironic that dook's best players in this one are their Sr Bigs?

Thornton is a good player and should be starting. The kid will be good.. Rip Van Ingram wants to be a point guard.

Thornton probably has to start because he is the only true PG. When he sits or if he gets into foul trouble, this team will struggle heavily. Problem is that he and Grayson are a very poor defensive backcourt right now and Murray, Ullis and Briscoe are having their way with them.

Duke only down 6 though and K usually makes good adjustments. Will be interesting to see how they come out.

Allen is going to be one of those players that is a world beater when playing bad teams or if he is on a team that has players that the other team have to worry alot about.

Grayson Allen and Luke Kennard look like they are more mid major suited players. They can't really guard these players and shoot without it being an open look so far. This is why Duke is losing.

Of course with me saying that he will go for 40 and 20 against the Heels and won't be able to miss if he tried to.

Hopefully Berry and Paige are aggressive when being guarded by their guards later this year. We don't have anyone like Murray but Berry is quite strong and a good ball handler.

Do not know if ESPN or Directv wrote the program information but it says this is "a rematch of last year's national championship game"

Ingram will be one and done based on potential. He can play point guard in the NBA.

Ingram and Allen are a combined 2-16 from the field. No way they can beat Kentucky without those two playing well.

I didn't see any emotion from Ingram tonight. His shot wasn't falling, but he could have hustled for rebounds and found other ways to help the team win. He did none of that.
