ESPN began ignoring and then often downgrading, even trashing, the ACC. In contrast, CBS Sports remains fair to the ACC, as is seen in this article on signing day, which is subtitled: Bill Belichick's Tar Heels had two big flips Wednesday.

We are the random overnight fling for espn and Notre Dame, they use the ACC for their own needs.
The Big 10 has a better TV model IMO being on CBS, FOX and NBC channels. If the ACC ever dies, I prefer being in a huge coast to coast Big 10 that could hopefully destroy the SEC and espn.
I think the Big 10 wants UNC, UVa and maybe Miami and GT to get TV markets down the east coast with new AAU schools. Also, they'd love Notre Dame to give in to them, which likely would mean adding their Stanford buddies. Do they stop there or go bigger? Maybe even raid the SEC for say....aTm to get the TX TV market.
