this makes me happy for JWash and the team, and also because it redeems me. When Wash was getting dumped on, and being chalked up as no help in the future, I voiced optimism that his game would come around, and in a big way; and I'll reiterate that I have confidence that he'll become a force. He's not there yet. We'll see.

I was in your camp until the Louisville game. Sitting on the baseline, I saw him get manhandled and not show the fight that is necessary. But that is also the game that forced him to change, which he has acknowledged. He's a nice dude and has so much more potential than he's shown. Well, until this past week. I hope he keeps playing well so the negative people on social media can direct their angst elsewhere.
I know you've seen it far more than I have, a good player struggling to contribute up to his potential when something causes that little light to finally come on. That's an awesome thing to see and I hope that that is what's happening with Washington. Fly, boo-birds, fly.
