And meanwhile elsewhere...

...and Burger Boy MJ Walker commits to FSU. Blow to Pastner down here --- GT thought they were in good shape with him at one point.

Ham is a likable guy, but I can't fathom how he's getting AA recruits every year.

I thought I read Freeman was gone. But if he's back, that helps a lot. Could give them one of the better ACC front courts, if they all play up to potential.

Batts gives them PG depth, if he's ready to play.

I don't expect much from Kirk or Hicks, but that could change with a different coach. The tiny bit I've seen from Kirk showed promise. I can't remember Hicks at all. If the new coach is like K they won't see the court. If he's like Roy, they'll get as much PT as they can handle.

Henderson should certainly get a waiver. Kid transferred and sat out a year and then was knocked out with an injury in the very first game of his first eligible season at State. Hard to imagine a more deserving case. In fact, it would be a travesty if he didn't get a waiver. Then again, the NCAA and travesties are no strangers.
Batts not a power 5 caliber player , neither are Kirk and Hicks.

Not sure what power 5 means, but with Henderson gone, one of those guys will have to step into a starter role - probably Kirk or Hicks, keeping Batts to share PG duties. At UNC, Kirk would be getting the nod.

That isn't such a bad roster. Some good players, decent position coverage (2 PGs, 3 wings, 3 front line guys). A challenge for Keatts, but could work out if he's good.

Yeah... that particular conversation comes up from time to time down here, but just because of the way this board is going of late I'll save that for off-grid discussions ;)

I hear ya gary.
But in the conversations Leonard and I have he strongly called out guy who "cross" the lines in recruiting. As a matter of fact he named names and didn't sugar coat it.

Yeah, he doesn't get quite the juice their football boosters give Jimbo ;). Seriously, I bet Leonard knows where several programs' bodies are buried.
