One of my favorite entertainers of all time died on this day in 1984 or did he? There were always rumors that he faked his death , but I fear they were false. Andy was always outrageous whether on "Taxi" as Latka , doing foreign guy in clubs and on TV, intergender wrestling while insulting women , playing Tony Clifton ,. impersonating Elvis , staged feuding on Letterman with with Pro wrestler Jerry Lawler , starting brouhahas on "Fridays" and the set of "Taxi" , getting voted off SNL the list just goes on and on. A lot of the younger crowd probably don't even know him , but thanks Andy for all the laughs you gave me over the years and still do when I think about you outrageousness.
