IIRC they called him "White Magic" (before there was a Magic Johnson) --- think he ended up transferring back home up north.

Tell ya what... I really like his coaching chops. Watching Iowa I can see the old-school ACC influence, and some Carolina principles to boot.

I think he was at Wake more than a year, but no, he never lived up to his hype. Not sure Tacey got the most out of him. Mighta been why he left... dunno.

I think Iowa is very good. They struggled at times early on but have been great when I've seen them lately.
