I still do standup some, but there aren't that many opportunities in Goldsboro. The show I'm in this weekend is actually with a theater group I'm a part of in town. We do a thing every summer called the "One-Act Festival" and it's basically a night of skits. I wrote about half of the skits in the show this year and am in a handful of them. It's a fun time, all the skits are locally written by Eastern North Carolina folks, some of them are much better than others haha. True story though, the last two years have included one written by a guy who was in Forrest Gump, he's one of the people sitting on the bench with Forrest.
