Balls to the wall and regardless of all the stats all the positives and negatives UNC found a way to win and absolutely nothing else matters
App State's luck ran out. That was an embarrassing home opener. You can "half-full" that shitshow all you want. They were 20 point favorites.
Right when I think we are the dumbest team on earth App comes out and throwing it on their last drive and we havent stopped their RB all night long!
You really can't. Games like that area perfect example of why UNC football can never be taken seriously. I don't care how many wins Mack Brown has in his career. A Sun Belt team, with a backup QB, you're favored to win by 20, home opener and you win in triple OT... pathetic
That is the biggest concern. I think it's due, in part, to the new OC and system
Really what do you want from him? You don't have to throw for 400 and 3 TD's for it to be called playing well.
He makes plays when we need him to!
so the line has been better, but i agree with @strummingram the new offense is making drake see sides, which is great, and hopefully soon verticals will open.
still doesn’t explain away #20 starting, #26 just blitzing every play, #4 on the field so much unless it’s conditioning, and #3 & #25 not together more(they bring it)…i know it’s situational, but those dudes with #10 are elite.

He hasn’t and no wide receiver seems to want to be the go to guy
He's had a few bad throws, also missing dynamic receivers and a coach who will call something other than screens.
Feels like last year. He was moving the chains on big downs all nite.
When your QB is 66% with zero ints, nobody fumbles, and your yards per carry is 7.1, and it takes 2 OTs, then your Defense got abused by a backup.

For now, that is true, but it will matter massively if the problems and weaknesses are not dealt with properly.
Problems like that go to the position coach, always. We have have signed quite few talented WRs with multiple P5 offers. And on most downs we play 3 WRs. Yet Galloway never seems able to have more than 4 WRs ready to play at all. With this offense, we need 6 ready to go, with at least 1 stepped up as The Go-To WR.
