Hubert is just another failed former player picked to do something he was not up to doing well. At least he is not nearly as bad as Kenny Payne. Talk about stupid as all Hell and apparently also lazy.

But the question is: can UNC find the gonads to fire the first black UNC basketball coach, who also is an alum? We all should know by now that because the SEC and BT are super rich from BIG TIME football, that UNC cannot outbid even Vandy for a basketball coach. But we could hire fired former Vandy coach and UNC alum Jerry Stackhouse. But he is not close to being the good character guy that Hubert is (his childish temper is akin to that of Juwan Howard), and in smarts, he is closer to Payne than he is to any first rate ACC basketball coach.

What would be Hubert's buyout? Then how much would a new coach worth hiring coast?

And start with the fact that UNC damned well now for the first time in history better be 100% focused on getting football into true Big Time status in order later to have big money for basketball and the non-revenues.
