McGrath needs to shut is yap? Lol. A lot of sensitive Sally's posting in this thread. Again, it was a reminder to some kids that we have a great coach on our side. I have 0 issues with him putting up his accolades. Tell the kids last year that winning the regular season ACC title, and ACC tourney meant nothing. Of course I'd take nattys over conference titles, but to say it doesn't matter is just a fans ignorant point of view.

I'm not saying none of that matters. In terms of ACC success we still have kept that going. But national championships and bragging rights over your hated rival mean a lot more. This would be fine if Duke wasn't doing so well, but they've won 2 natty's already and their aiming for a third next year.

You misunderstand me. I love Roy, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone. But this decade we have not performed overall as well as our rivals nor have we recruited as well. I want that to change, and I don't think it's wise for McGrath to be mouthing off, especially since Duke has been pulling in top hauls every year consistently since 2012-13. Not to mention they got us 11-4 in head to head matchups.

God, I ****ing hate Duke, but they have the edge as of now. And I hope Roy can reverse that trend in our favor.

Roy will be back in the discussion for top recruiters in the country, starting in 2017 when he lands a monster class. The junk has really hurt plus no playing time available. Now that the junk seems to be blowing past us, and a lot of playing time opening up (starting in 2017). We will land those recruits. There seems to be this belief we are in a down time, yet we just went to the NC championship game and will have a pre season top 5 team next year, with all the junk happening.
