Maybe those who are much more in the details of recruit8ng can give their perspective, but in reading the article I came away feel8ng like he’s a heavy Duke lean:

Duke: “I just know if I were to go to Duke and the players that they have been recruiting, like me,
Joey (Baker) and Vernon (Carey), I just know we could be a very versatile lineup like this year with them having Marvin Bagley and Wendell Carter. They’re just showing that they can play three bigs at the same time, but also go small. I know that they would have versatile lineups, and I can show all that I can do.”

UNC: “I just like their inside-out game. They’re going to go inside first, and that is definitely a plus. I just feel like I could go in there early and start and make an impact on the team.”

Obviously nothing negative but in comparing the comments, one feels much stronger than the other.

Assume he's going to Duke until you're given compelling reason to believe otherwise.

If he surprises us and chooses the Heels, I will be thrilled because he has the build and game to be a game changer. If he chooses puke, I will be thrilled to watch him lose to the Good Guys!

Choose the Good Mr. Bacon!

I would be shocked if he doesn't end up at Duke, unless the Duke staff chooses to go the Stewart/Carey route instead. And they would need to feel REALLY confident that they get both Stewart/Carey to pass on Bacot IMO.

I fully expect Roy to go all out for him until he inevitably commits to Dook. We all know how much he loves kids who grew up Dook fans.

For the life of me, I've never been able to figure this out but there are countless examples over the years where a guy that openly admits his love for Dook is prioritized while kids that want a Tar Heel offer are not.

Yep, and it's utterly mind boggling that we continue to do this despite the fact it continues to fail. We're about to go 0-2 in 2019 on 5 * SF while we wait for an indecisive Dook fanboy to reset his entire recruitment.

The scandal took its toll on our recruiting over the years, but we ushered in these problems by going all in on kids that never wanted to be at UNC in the first place.

Moore is worth it. He rebounds so well, he's a perfect fit for UNC's system.

Definitely sad that Bacot wants to be a Dukie. If I am him, I look at bigs ranked near his ranking that went to Duke (Jeter, Bolden) and start to worry. K has no patience for developing bigs.

Mason Plumlee says hi. Not every Big who’s a five star is going to pan out. Not every 3 Star is going to be a bust. Bolden is going to take time and he’s slowly getting better each game. His injury hinder his progress last year, and quite frankly he has a lot to work on- both on the court and understanding the game. If you want to say he’s a finished product after one year and ten games that’s your prerogative but he’s going to take longer than he or some prognosticators wanted to think he would- and that’s ok.

In other words he stinks, wont develop at dook, and will realize it at some point before he transfers.

Given that bolden will take some time, and that’s understandable, one of the three freshman bigs at UNC will have to really grow up fast. Certain kids develop faster regardless of rankings. I can’t speak for bolden, but Manley is still catching up on his conditioning and Brooks just needs to work on his positioning and poise.

So Bolden is fat? There are plenty of knocks on his game, but this is a little odd and sadly in keeping with your posting style. UNC is the reigning national champs and yet you spend a whole lot of time posting about Duke and bashing other UNC fans on this board... why so salty?
Find your way to the dook board and give him all the praise you want.
