Well that’s brutal… it’s clear, beyond clear that Hubert can’t coach. Ok he might be able to recruit and he’s a good man but the man can’t coach the X and Os
No top coach is coming to a program with a crappy NIL like UNC basketball. Hope you're ready for a 3-4 year rebuild with our next NCAA tournament in 2029.
Davis can’t motivate the team to play with 40 minutes of intensity and can’t scheme well enough to put them in situations to be successful. How do you let Blakes get the ball that easily? How is there not someone cheating to help Trimble on that side? How did they lose a 7 point lead at home? Don’t think I can be excited about basketball until we get a new coach.

Terrible loss. On the last defensive set you gotta know they want Blakes going downhill, he is inbounding the ball, you can't get caught flat footed and let him just give and go and have a straight line full steam ahead 1 on 1.
Again they got Bill for Football and money appeared so fire Hubert bring in a proven coach and mysteriously find 20 million
Absolutely no reason Ian Jackson should have even been on the court the final 8 minutes. He was terrible today, yet Powell sat instead.
Washington's benching should have come sooner. He was terrible.

Trimble with back to back terrible defensive possessions to close the game vs Blakes.
Basically RJ, Lubin, and maybe Cadeau are the only players who showed up today.

A group of old boosters decided to throw a truckload of money at Bill and his staff.
The same boosters who wouldn't spend far less money to get UNC a big man this past summer.
Going to waste two of the most ready to play freshmen that have come to UNC in a while.
Recruits care about money. They'll go to fricking BYU if the money is there. This game won't impact recruiting. The Carolina boosters continuing to be cheap will.
Our starting center got his ass kicked today. Hubert ended up benching him the last 8 minutes of the game. If our boosters had bought UNC a starting center, our season wouldn't be wrecked.
And I'm sure Caleb Wilson is going to love the "fire Hubert" stuff on social media as he nears his announcement.

Wilson would be crazy to come to a program where the boosters refuse to buy the team a center. He'd have to play a lot of center at UNC next year. And we'll have far less talent at guards.

Why tf should the boosters throw money at players to help hubs and the coaching staff? They may as well flush their cash or set it on fire.
A true mark of a great coach is someone who can get the most out of the individual physical gifts and talents of each player, getting them to play hard, smart, together with good basketball strategy.
In all these coach aspects - hub has underperformed colossally. F grades across the board.
I sense maybe you think low key the boosters are a bunch of racists who have it out for genius coaching master hub? And he’s doing the best with what little he has? Pure BS. There are plenty of coaches who are doing more with a LOT less talent than Heels and hub. Because every game that matters or is close hub gets woefully outcoached, and the team gets out hustled and outperformed.

Just ignore the tiresome comments about NIL and not buying a center. He has zero evidence to back it up. We were rumored to have paid around $750K for Tyson. It has been rumored that Wolfe got around $750K. If any of that is true, then it wasn’t lack of NIL but instead piss poor evaluating by the staff. Tyson clearly struggled his entire career against D1 competition and we overpaid for him with money that could’ve bought a center.

Thank you! The douchebag @DaveChapelle has me on ignore but he can’t get this through his head! It’s been stated multiple times by the guys who run this site that we had the money to get a solid big like Wolfe…but Hubert chose not to
Man we were backpedaling on defense on that last play while they were running full speed. Ex Dukie received the ball running full speed getting downhill and absolutely bodied Trimble, because he wasn’t in position, but on his hip, created space and knocked it down. Disaster of an execution by all involved- including the staff.
The boosters cut Mack off at the knees and they've done the same to Hubert.
