Bacot expectations this season.

One writer over at SI seems to think Armando will give a good lift inside.
Now, if Sterling can get & stay healthy, then I'm feeling really good with all of our bigs.

Sterling is such a huge question mark. I used to hear great things in the off season, and then as season began once again Damion Grant was unable to really contribute. I hope this won't be the case for Sterling.

I am super pumped we have young Mr. Bacot!

Just read a little piece by Dan McDonald (?) with a 4 min clip of Armando and Cole over the past year.
First, for those that have not watched Cole, he will be a very special Tar Heel. One thing about him that showed up in the clip, Cole can get up. He will contest and block shots inside especially within his matchup. He does everything well. Handling the ball and passing, wow, his team mates better have their eyes open and head on a swivel, Cole can get the ball to team mates in amazing ways. Even rebounds in a strong fashion and not shy about getting down court.
Second, Armando, goodness, another kid that will a very special Tar Heel. He can run the floor, has great hands, rebounds, blocks shots and/or changes them, and has great stuff of his own from 15 ft on in, even showed a floater in the clip, what I enjoyed is his up and down the floor. Let's just say he participates at a very high level.
These two Tar Heels will see significant time for us this season. Glad they are on our team! Go Heels!

If we are contenders I am thinking Bacot will have to have a really good freshman year. He is suppose to be elite on the boards, so should be able to get some put backs.

Expectations, 11-13 points and 7-8 boards. Not only expected will almost be needed.

I'm in the camp of people who expect that Bacot will average double-figure points and at least seven boards in over 20 minutes a game, so I was a bit surprised when I read this preview: https://www.tarheelblog.com/2019/8/...ot-center-recruiting-north-carolina-tar-heels

Yeah he's leaving out the fact that Bacot could see close to 30 minutes per game out of necessity. It's all about the context.

All I know is I’m glad he’s a Heel, and gonna be a major part. Let’s hope he stays healthy and not worry about the numbers. Cole and Bacot are huge factors. If they stay healthy we’re good. Believe me!
