I was very excited about the prospect of HC reform, Infastructure, and Taxes. Yet with every tweet, he further limits his support, which in turn limits the prospect of any meaningful reform.

See, what I don't get is why him being a buffoon on twitter, or not condemning hate groups fast enough, or condemning hate groups too fast, automatically get people to lose support of policies that are unrelated like HC reform, infrastructure, and tax reform.

If democrats pick up any seats in 2018, he is effectively done with only SCOTUS as a lasting impact. He really is turning out to be a feckless leader. Republicans will run against him in 2020. I'm not sure the GOP will officially support them, but they will run regardless.

I'm not convinced he'll even run in 2020. He might just say, F this shit - I'm going back to being a rich business owner that can go where I want and do what I want without a bunch of haters sticking their nose up my ass.

Because POTUS needs the support of the legislature to get things done. They have been watching the public to determine if backing trump is a popular opinion. Trump continues to piss off more and more Americans and the the pubs will distance themselves from him. Thus, nothing will be accomplished. Trump doesn't realize it, but McConnell and Ryan don't actually work for him.

But it isn't just haters wanting to do that. It is also reasonable people who were on his side. It is reasonable people who were willing to give him a chance. You can only be an irrational condescending prick to so many people before it impacts their opinion of everything about you.

My hope is Kelly gets him to chill out and just do his job. I think he could get some stuff done if he would just do that.

Yeah, no one believed him anyway. He was just talking. It is what he does, talks in the moment with no thoughts of his words meaning anything. To be fair though, if I could play golf that much I would as well.

Yep; considering that he ran out of spite and ego, I'm predicting he will step down somewhere between years 2-3, but only under the condition that Pence picks Ivanka for the veep.

Kelly is a chain of command guy and seems himself as helping clean house for POTUS. He does not have any intention of questioning, lecturing Trump. However, getting Bannon out was a huge coup in of itself. Look for Kushner and Ivanka to steer Trump back to some semblance of moderation (relatively speaking).

When you're playing the courses that the POTUS has access to, then the views alone are pretty spectacular.
