Good read on the then young Barnes and his zeal to succeed. And NOW. I abhorred him as much as anyone then. But he is a better coach and Christian man these days. Softened in some aspects, but still ever the firey POSITIVE influence of his players. New found admiration here for me! Age does that on both counts I reckon.
Tell ya what, I have REALLY enjoyed watching him coach UT and these young Vols are a 3 star blue collar bunch that will give it their all for him as they are continually improving. We'd better BRING IT or they will e trouble. They are NOT the same team as was in Maui. Just look at their drubbing of Ga Tech last week as example.
