Should be interesting to see how the team responds. They have three games left to win two if they want to play in a bowl. Heels might have a shot to knock them out of contention at their place.
Was hoping he'd stay a couple more seasons so they'd really slide further into mediocrity.
They set the press conference to name the new HC, and Beamer will send a tweet saying, 'Just kidding. I am not now, nor in the near future, retiring.'
Well, if Frank gets his way, JR will be at least co-HC, and the Hokies could nose dive.

Since when do have we had to worry about WRs? That's the most consistent position for us in the past 15 years.
Being in Southwest Virginia most of my life, I hate this for the cHokie faithful because we all know what's going to happen unless they can replace Beamer with a top tier coach.

It's funny because I've heard rumblings out of Morgantown that unless Holgerson can win out, he's getting the boot and they are putting the full court press back on Rich Rod. Wouldn't that be something though, to see those two fighting for the same coach.

I sure hope his team is not inspired by this announcement. Emotion could play a big part in our trip to Blacksburg. They would love nothing more than to beat us and keep us from the championship game and then beat the Hoos.
