If Mitch is a top 15 pick, and probably if he's a 1st round pick, I think it's really hard to say he made a mistake. That's a pretty big payday right there. He can get experience and develop while in the NFL too.
Unless he goes to Cleveland. If that happens he's f**ked.
Agreed that Cleveland is a dumpster fire that is doomed to fail, but I think that's where he wants to go given where he grew up (even if thats at 12 or probably even 33 instead of 1).
If that happens I'd be willing to bet that he won't even be in the league long enough to get a second contract. That place is where QB's go to die.
i don't think he's going there(cleveland)...they want a premium pass rusher and a legit receiver...they can get garrett and mike williams where they sit.

That screams a Belichick pick if he keeps falling. Pass Rusher (big need for the Pats) from Alabama (Belichick and Saban are boys), with some issues (weed). Not sure where he's projected right now but I saw an early 2nd round grade on him. I could see Bill trading back from their 1st this year and grabbing him.
heard a guy today talk about tim williams...top 10 talent skill wise, a monster on the edge...however, he believes he's already tested positive and it's gotten out...saw a mid 1st round grade on him before the title game, now he's a second.
I don't what the contracts go for now. How much guaranteed money will he get if he flops and gets released after a couple of years. Lets be honest, he wasn't that great towards the end of the year. He needs more starts. Just my opinion. Short term, he is fine with $, long term, I am doubtful.
