I have seen two mock drafts today that have Powell at No. 32 and No. 35. That is the high end of the second round. Jonathan Givony at ESPN has him going 32nd. His measurements are giving him momentum: seven-foot wingspan, and an 8-foot-7 standing reach at 6-5 1/4 height. I spoke with two individuals this evening with extensive experience in the college and pro game, and both are highly educated in the current draft proceedings. Neither one thinks Powell will return to UNC, but will stay in the draft.
