LOL, I spent the morning and afternoon building a dog fence with the Humane Society of Charlotte. It's hot out there! Came home, ate some lunch, and am just chilling for the rest of the day.RH, what you doing trolling for likes on a nice Saturday evening? Get out and enjoy the weekend. I'm stuck here at the store again until 6:00PM
Funny you should say this. I was listening to Stum's poast this afternoon and realized I don't have a single Rolling Stones album in my music collection. Blasphemy, I know. They just never 'clicked' for me. So I decided I needed to buy a few of their albums and listen -- really listen -- to them. Exile on Main St. is definitely on the list. What are a couple other Stones albums you and @strummingram (or anyone else) recommend? From One of the best albums ever.

IMO, if you want to listen to the Stones at the height of their powers, go with these four for starters:Funny you should say this. IMO, if you want to listen to the Stones at the height of their powers, go with these four for starters:
Beggars Banquet
Let it Bleed
Sticky Fingers
Exile on Main Street
That period (68-72) was their best for sure - those 4 albums are considered some of the greatest in rock and roll history.
They had plenty of other good albums in the 60's and 70's, but after Tattoo You (1981), most of their stuff is so-so IMO; good tunes but not consistently great albums.
