UNC to the Gasparilla in Tampa vs. Coastal Carolina. A loss to a directional school in the Sunbelt would be another embarrassment.

That said, Bubba might get some ideas about coaching watching the CCU staff. Of course, he also has seen the Wake and Pitt staffs this year and may still think that Mack has assembled about as good a staff as can be hoped for outside the SEC.

Just ready to get this season over with and start seeing how this roster will shape out for next fall. A lot to be excited about for 2022 with more of these highly ranked kids getting on the 2 deep.

CCU has a winning culture. It's sorta like Appalachian State. They're used to winning their games. UNC is used to losing their games, or at least losing as much as they win... which is still a losing culture.

I'm also willing to bet anyone that Longo and Bateman are back next year. I don't know if Brown is willing to replace any position coaches or not. I'm inclined to believe that he's willing to replace one of them, maybe. Longo and Bateman will be back.

I don't think Diaz would coach under Mack again. The Mack who refused to fire long time mediocre assistants he liked personally then made a public display of firing Diaz after BYU QB Taysom Hill ran for about a thousand yards against Texas.

That was the second game of the season.

That firing was about Mack giving the middle finger to the Texas boosters and the AD. And Mack then hired BFF Greg Robinson as DC. The same bad coach that Mack originally introduced to multiple people as his DC at UNC.

Sam is playing and they'll go on and win their second bowl game in 3 seasons. Program is going upward, just need to keep recruiting well and get these Mack recruits on the 2 deep.

SoCar was blanked by Clemson, at home, in their last game. UNC choked-away one of the most memorable leads, and worst loss, in program history. So, both teams should be wanting to end on a positive note.
