With the way Brice Johnson has been playing lately, I believe he has all but locked up a spot in the first round of the NBA Draft, and I would not be surprised if he is a lottery pick. I am impressed by his consistent improvement since his arrival in Chapel Hill.

The ONLY thing that is holding back Brice and can stop him in any way, is his confidence, fire, attitude, agressiveness at times. ie his head, and heart at times. He has all the physical skills and talents he needs, to be great. He can shoot over anyone, and has become very smooth and quick at finishing, including nice touch off the glass, and an accurate shooter from anyplace 10 feet in, even while closely guarded.

I appreciate #11 more than most UNC loyalty--4th year senior... You can't learn heart and hustle..(Hansbrough was a freak) Marcus is still helping him to develop that emotionally, but unpredictable play out of a guy like this = losses in March. Stay focused Brice!

With respect to the OP, I hate projection threads.
Yes, Brice has had a couple of great games, but the Heels need that to become standard fare.
If he keeps it up and tears the ACC a fresh orifice then we'll be talking!

Brice needs to show that he can consistently dominate games in order to be a no brainer first round pick. He possesses the talent for sure. If he can master the mental aspect of the game, he will be fine.

He's a 21 yr old kid with fans all around him...he'll be snapped back to reality if he makes an NBA team..he still can't quite consistently dominate a high level D1 big man without fouling, he has a semi-reliable 10 foot jumper at most...he's my man, but nothing to be cocky about

Little early with the lottery projections. Ingram was pretty bad in November but has moved on one board to number two pick. Brice has always been able to show flashes just not consistency

Brice has the offensive game and measurements to be a top 20 pick. Consistency is his bug a boo as we all know. If he keeps playing this way he will be a top 20 pick. He still has some solid upside for a guy who is a Sr.

If Brice can be consistent with great play the rest of the season, he'll be a first round pick. I doubt he'll be a lottery pick though but I'd love to see it.

Looking back on our recruitment of Brice , I think it came down to Brice and T.J. Warren (had Moo connections) on who would accept the offer first. I think we came out with the best result , because 4 of Brice has been better than 2 of Warren. Who is warren playing for now?

Brice has the offensive mindset to play in the NBA but he probably still needs to put on 10 to 20 pounds to his frame or he will get beat up like his freshmen year on the hill but it will hurt more.

It's possible. It's still early so consistency is a key. One thing that has not been mentioned is what a reliable free throw shooter he has become. Not a bad third option towards the end of the game.
