Bubba almost left for UF last month.

At least according to THIS article. Basically Bubba was a primary target and offered a contract, there were some visits and meetings and they expected him to come to Gainesville to finalize the deal but Bubba backed out. From what I've learned elsewhere and around the interwebs, it went on around the beginning of August but didn't last all that long. Came to see AJ and others opinions and was surprised no one had posted it yet.
