I am not sure if Maryland paid Buzz Williams more or if he just wanted to get out of the SEC and middle of nowhere Texas. The SEC is becoming cut-throat in MBB so going to a Tier 2 program with a national title makes sense.
I prefer we go to the Big 10 too with UVa, dook and a couple other ACC schools. SEC football, baseball and MBB will be death match each conference game. Better to make $100M/year in an easier national conference.
