He is a 3*, one with a great deal of potential, because is a proven all around player who is a very good kick returner as well as WR. I hope he has the speed and quickness to be the rare, and needed, 6-2 CB, but with added weight he could become a top Safety.

40 time is 4.63. My guess is he will end up at safety

He's not the fastest but he's very instinctive on D. Can use his size and long arms to press and jam at the line of scrimmage. His eyes are very impressive in regards to reading the holes and lanes on special teams.

And instinct does make up for lack of speed and quickness.

With so many tall WRs now, it is important to have at least 1 CB on your 1st and 2nd teams who is at least 6 feet tall.

Either way I think he’ll be a big time player. His speed could still improve

Hard to glean instincts from highlight film... Blind squirrels find nuts too.

Actually not hard at all if you actually watch the film.
I disagree, because you're only seeing the highlights, not the lowlights where the kid is way out of position, mis-timing things, whiffing, etc. There are tons of past hudl films that make kids look fantastic regarding instincts, then they get to college and their ball IQ is lacking.

Not trying to be debbie-downer, but you are only seeing a fraction of the kid's performance.

You're probably right, though. LSU, Washington, USC, Oregon, Washington State and about 15 others offered him

Incorrect. When I say watch the film, I mean ALL of it. I didn't say highlights. I'll be happy to give you my log-ins and you can watch all these guys and their film.
