Another excellent floor game today.
But one thing I noticed, and the announcers even mentioned it, is that college defenses will force him finish because he's always looking to pass off the dribble drive.
Elliott is a tough little nut but also small in statue and will get bumped alot in the ACC.

He would be the best PG on our team from day one.
I've seen different posters say definitively that he is coming and then others that he is not coming. No idea the credibility of either. Anyone with knowledge of the program have any input?
It pains me to think he’s likely a OAD because he’s just what our team needs. If we had him for 3 years, he could turn our program around.
One of the annoncers on the Geico game just blurted out that Elliot may reclass and come on to the Hill....so he said from "good sources".
He's play with a little edge as well. He and Zayden had a few words today in the heat of the battle.

But he still showed a lot of leadership, and he was ALWAYS standing and cheering on the sidelines all year long when not in the game.
He will be tremendous in his role at Carolina next season, and then he will get some big time opportunities in year 2 and beyond.

2. He's coming off a long injury but that AZ coach doesn't have a clue.
Seems like there is some strong buzz he might re class. Would be huge for us I think, move RJ to the 2 and then you have Elliot and Simeon running point . Even some 3 guard lineups with Trimble/Dunn… all hd needs to get is done legit wing shooters and we are in a pretty good spot to make a run at it
Who would Cadeau pass the ball to? How about 6’6 Dalton Knecht ?

The difference? High's team doesn't have a PG worth a flip. High playing with Cadeau would be night-and-day different.... as in like, getting the ball.
When standards are lowered, it is inevitable that most people eventually come to think of the average as superior, and some even to resent those who are truly gifted.

Exactly right!! High would flourish with a PG like Cadeau. High moves extremely well without the ball as did Manek (I’m not saying he is going to be Brady). That was another trait in which Brady was exceptional at moving to open areas without the ball. Sliding to open areas and finding open seams is something that High has in his game as well. But there are similarities in both players. I have said it before but as soon as Cadeau comes on campus Hubert needs to hand him the keys. Cadeau makes everyone around him so much better. Cadeau will not only make the offense better but he will change the whole dynamic of the Team just by his awareness. The offense and the Team will run night and day differently. I just wished Nickel had stayed on so he could have manned the three spot with a PG like Cadeau. This would take so much pressure off of RJ and Bacot as they would both benefit tremendously from Cadeau as well

Some of you do not seem to realize the difference between HS and college hoops.
Maybe we should wait until they prove themselves at UNC before anointing them HOF’ era.
Would love to go back and read some folks posts prior to this last year and prior years regarding recruits.
Everyone is better off with a point guard who excels at running the offense and getting his teammates easy opportunities.
Cadeau has dominated high school, AAU, and FIBA for Team Sweden. All his teammates love playing with him. Other recruits love playing with him. He'll be 19 in September. He's not going to get much better in high school (and 2023 was his original class before he reclassified backwards in his youth.) I think it's pretty obvious the only way to keep pushing himself is to move on to the next level.
The idea of waiting until he's 20 years old to play his first college game doesn't make any sense.

With Cadeau we would have 6 guys for 3 spots. Competition for the 4th, 5th, 6th guard should be intense in practice for those guys that choose to stay.Or another transfer out
With Bacot, Wash, And High up front, we would still need a versatile 4 man that has strength and can guard in space.
That is 10 schollys. Another big wing OR another backup big gets us to 11 schollys. I think that is where we end up.
Probably 11 at most 12.

Cadeau probably won't make his decision until June or July. He would likely be the 13th scholarship.
The transfer portal closes May 11th I believe. Players who want to leave UNC and be eligible for the coming season, have to make that decision by the deadline. UNC likely won't have it's roster set until we'll after that deadline.
