The loss last night was simply nothing more than a team making a lot of hard shots and us missing a lot of open shots. And we still had the game won until Bacot tried to be a PG.

Nothing more. No reason to think it's the end of the world.

I don't think anyone is pulling the chicken little. Just discussing what's going on currently ie... Bacot trying to be a PG

Yeap Bacot was doing a lot of dribbling. Maybe he’s trying to get a NIL deal from the Dribbles Car Wash chain or maybe since he turned it over everytime he dribbled….maybe he’s trying to get a NIL deal from McDonald’s…..the apple tutnover will be replaced with the Bacot Turnover

So, you seem to find a way to criticize and blame all but one player. You're simply firing shots at all of the players except one. Not the way that it should be done...

You are right Sir……but there is one thing that you should never Give up…never compromise on….and that’s the real thing you need in Love

How can you criticize Love? After all is gone…Love is what you have left.

Honestly, I think this is a good wake up call, to really set some standards for our players. They need to stop running our starters throughout the whole game, with the talent on the bench getting no play time which also tires Bacot out almost completely. I mean the ESPN stats alone before the game even started putting Iowa State at 53 percent (Unranked) and UNC at 47 percent (Ranked #1)

This has nothing to do with panic. This loss was symptomatic of what has been the season's entire pathology. Players need to get their heads right on what they're bring taught, and the staff needs to not be afraid to realize that the schemes that worked last season ain't gonna hunt this time.

Unfortunately, a PG ain't gonna emerge outta thin air, so it's time to return to Carolina fundamentals in spades.

It’s the end of the world if Caleb continues to shoot 23% from 3 along with RJ shooting 26%

Our 3 point shooting is abysmal. It was the reason we made a run to the finals last season. If it doesn’t improve, we’re toast

Seems like this is the same old stuff we went through at the beginning of last season. Incredible lack of effort, undefined roles, MOMENTS OF BRILLIANCE followed by minutes of clueless crap. Breaks where no one knows where they're supposed to be .. Bacot incessantly not making space in the low post and constantly taking the ball below his shoulders and trying to do things he has no business trying to do LIKE DRIBBLING .. spacing sucks and there is way to much hero ball going on and a serious lack of inside out ball. This group needs a come to Jesus moment and figure out their roles and who they need to be to win. But tbh it starts with effort and movement on both sides of the ball.

There is definitely hope for this team, but something tells me that too many players got caught up in the preseason #1 ranking, the NIL deals, the Iron Five tour, and hype from an NBA player. NBA scouts definitely know talent, and these scouts passed on Bacot, Love, Davis, Black, and Nance for valid reasons. They concluded that these are all good College players, but not one of them was NBA-worthy. So as I see it, all we can hope for is that they become the very best College players they can be, but in the end, they still may not be NBA-worthy. Time will tell. I remain hopeful but realistic.

History has taught us that if we freak out after a dismal performance (or several) the team eventually improves.

Therefore it behooves us to freak out early and often.

Calm is the enemy of progress.

Kidding aside, this team should be doing a lot better.

You are almost right…..Love is on many mock draft boards and some in the first round. You are right about the others…..let Love in your heart

Right now, Caleb is playing to mid or late second round, which translates into returning for a fourth year or G-league/overseas. At least he was MVP at Lillard's camp. Did he forget the lessons learned at the camp, such as assists, assists, assists ?

And Bacot is doing nothing but hurt himself. No reliable "go to" inside shot and WAY TO MANY problems with both catching and knowing what to do after he catches it. jmho
