I was kidding of course. If the game starts to get away from us though hopefully the coaches will work in some backups and protect those guys. Would really suck to lose one or more them in a blowout loss.

A lot can happen in a couple weeks. I can only hope the coaching staff and team take things one game at a time. Looking ahead is fun in speculation but each week has it's own set of circumstances. After they flip the coin they play the game and the next coin flip is Friday. It is time to show out against the deacs so let us destroy them in their own house!
Well will get a chance to see if we have a chance soon. Nobody thought we had a chance the last time we played and about pulled it off so we will see. For now though it’s time to focus on wake forest.
Right now our team is concentrating on Wake and Clemson is concentrating on their next opponent as well. Only fans have time for looking ahead.

We have people that are excited...They don’t follow football 2 much...We are in a rebuilding stage...I will be happy if we can beat Wake and App State...2 or 3 years down the road we will see....Until then no UNC will no beat Clemson this year...I hope we can keep it close or be competitive...

Biggest victory against Clemson would be getting out of the game healthy. Got beat up some by Miami but other than Clemson, not going to get tested physically quite as much going forward.

looking back over the years i've found clemson to be among the more reasonable and respectful fan bases, not too obnoxious about their football team, and not overly resentful of our dominance in basketball. their abc mentality is not pathological as with other acc teams. that said, i'm not happy about a dynasty standing between my beloved tar heels and an acc football championship. can we beat them? sure, anybody can beat anybody, especially if favored team is overconfident and complacent. however, clemson is in the hunt for another national title. they know their strength of schedule is not impressive and a humiliating loss to "lowly" carolina would keep them out, so i don't see that happening. in my search for optimism, what i've found is that clemson's strength from last year -- their incredible defensive line -- is gone to the nfl. i know they've got talented replacements, but that line last year was among the best i've ever seen. ask tua...
Clemson is getting top 10 recruiting classes every year now. Their 2020 class has an average star rating of over 4. They have good coaches, good facilities and good support structures. They will have years where they are better than others but will be very good every year for a while. Hoping we can get to that level some day but will settle for being the class of the Coastal first.
We can go ahead and officially answer this question as a no.
