I got to tell ya, any NBA team, that drafts Ian Jackson, in EITHER the first or second round, does not deserve a single fan showing up in their building. Just that simple... He’s had 3 years to figure out who was going to play center once Bacot left. Your argument looks even dumber when you consider Hubert has watched Washington and Withers the last couple years every day in practice and thought he could go into the season with them as his frontcourt. Any serious person on this board other than the village idiot Gary was pleading for a big and knew there was no way we could compete with the frontcourt we had. Even if you take out the NIL excuse theres no way you can justify how the head coach at North Carolina cant land a serviceable center when he can all but guarantee them a starting spot. There are numerous big men across the country sitting on the bench that are better than the bigs we trot out there

Regardless of whether it’s justified or not, this will be used against Hubert in recruiting since Ian was supposed to be a sure fire OAD.

Who thought the heels would stay within 5-6 of Clemson in Litttlejohn - better coached and better players and more effort than UNC.

I’d say this is humiliating but actually it’s criminal. You can’t make any case for Hubert or these players. Both need accountability

Not gonna argue with you about evaluating talent but it seems like several top programs missed on Tyson we were just the one who is looking like the idiots

I am now in the group that doesn't think he is a Tar Heel next season.

It’s frustrating for sure. He gives the other team so many extra possessions but yet we need him when he’s making great plays. I’m hoping it’s just him pressing or still a little immaturity. We may or may not find out next year. By the way, I was kind of giving Dave a hard time about only picking on RJ while EC runs a muck. Lol

EC is hard to watch these days. I also think with better talent around him he will improve and doesnt have to force his game. Also I’m wondering if HD offensive system is PG friendly like Roy’s system.

Ian is gone after this year. Scouts have seen enough to know he’s a first round talent.

Hard to fault the 2 freshman. This whole
Thing is a cluster****. our coach, our system, our roster construction, its total shit. The “stars” of our team are a 48 year old 5’9 volume shooter, a point guard with a sub par shot and negative asst/to ratio against quad 1 teams, an athlete in Trimble who is usually a 7-8 man on most UNC teams, and a cluster of bigs who collectively give you a stat line every night that leaves you wondering if any of rhem have a pulse. How’s that for honest?
