I still say the defense is heading in the right direction program wise. Not going to see awesome this season but it is looking like it's on the way.
Power! Like I said last week, start playing these kids like Boykins, Power, Rara, Silver etc and let them grow! They finally did it later in the season with Conley, Grimes and Murphy and it's paying dividends.
A lot of these highly rated recruits are not even on the 2-deep right now. Their time is coming!

Well... this thing turned around big-time! Give'em credit. They are kicking cupcake ass.
I think the Canes were hyped even more than the Heels. Although, App State is a much better team than GA State
Downs gets into the scoreboard on a five yard reception 52-10. GA State defense is just so tired because of all of three and outs by the offense

Think you saw a sneak peak of the future and why the media was high on the team. Recruiting has been great for UNC but a lot of those guys are not even on the 2 deep of the depth chart. I think you'll see playing time for Silver, RaRa, Ritzie etc increase as the season goes on. Mack, like Roy, values upperclassmen.
I can confirm that our O line looks just as bad in person as it does on TV. D line doesn't look a lot better.
OL having probs, DL getting washed out... I can confirm that lane stadium is not our kryptonite and that our lines simply aren't so good right now.

Agreed. I get starting the season playing the experienced guys but if they're not getting it done, need to at least see what these highly recruited guys can do.

Could not get the game on TV(spectrum, Asheville). Went to go heels.com the Unc football site, went to the schedule and clicked on the Georgia State game watch. I was asked my provider and typed in and had the game streamed to my computer and enjoyed/
Sorry to comment on an old thread, but this team that we destroyed, is giving Auburn fits right now
