Chizik has one more year under contract, correct? Are we looking to retain him afterwards or will we simply no pay a huge sum for a DC?
It seems around here the shine is off on Chizik because of poor defense but that is a mistake. Look at the personnel he inherited and compare this team to the team 3 years ago who gave up 170+ points to GT, ECU, and Clemson. I'd love to retain him long term.
Regarding Miles, would he have any interest to coach here in some capacity for a couple years? It would be wonderful to have his experience along with his talent on the recruiting trail. He'd be a nice insurance policy if Chizik bolted after next year as well.
