Junior defense end Dajaun Drennon has 25 starts in his career but has not played yet this season because of a broken foot he suffered in March that was re-aggravated sometime around the start of fall camp.
Drennon was originally slated to return for the Pitt game but has not. He did not travel to FSU this past weekend.
He has been practicing and was again today, though he did not take part in post-practice sprints. DC Gene Chizik was asked about Drennon's status and potential for an eventual return:
"He's working in that direction," Chizik said. "It's a day-by-day scenario with him, but he's trying to get back."
