I also asked Chizik about FSU's formations and if they can be a bit tricky, particularly in the run game:
“They do a great job. (FSU head coach) Jimbo (Fisher) has always been a great play caller. I’ve called defenses against him back when he was at LSU and I was at Auburn and I’ve tracked him over the years. He’s very, very good at what he does, he does a great job with formations and he does a great job of calling plays on game (days), that’s why he’s always had success everywhere he’s gone.
“So yes, he’s very creative, he does a good job with that, but just overall he’s really, really good at what he does.”
