Haven't seen a keys to beating the zags thread so I thought I'd throw out some thoughts .. And I haven't seen them play that many games this year but I did watch the game against SC.
From what I see they can match up with us as far as size goes. But I don't think they match the UNC athleticism. On the defensive side we have to play position defense and use our quickness to hopefully get good defensive position and some early fouls on their bigs. Under the boards we have to continue to get good rebounding position and hopefully get some over the back calls against Knowski and their bigs .. they have depth so we need to make 'em use it early.
Next thing is transition.. and we need to run,run, and run some more. Them's some big fellas and the sooner they get winded the sooner they start playing defense with their arms and the better that is for us getting FT shots which we absolutely have to be better at than the last game . JJ needs to keep driving and floating the shots and keeping his body square and feet under the shoulders on jumpers. When KM or IH gets the ball in the lane they need to use that drop step and their quickness, or the fall away / fade jump shot. The drop step could get their bigs in foul trouble too because it looked like they like to body into the shooters.
Also need some quality minutes off the bench. Tony and Luke could be yuge in this one .. we shall see. Still looking for Theo to show his PG skills .. maybe Monday night will be his time

On the defensive side I .. I honestly believe Roy will use a bit more zone and maybe some zone press or traps just to throw them off balance and negate the size/bulk of Knowski .. figure he might just flash or play it for a minute or 2 more than stay with it for any length of time but we shall see.
