Congrats Heels, good game. We just left you a little too much time on the clock!

Thanks.

Like almost all of us from both fan bases knew, the Ds were going to give up points. Both offenses did what they had to at the end. Not only did we have the ball last, but our kicker made the kick of his life.

Most of us thought we were going to lose by one. The game obviously could have gone either way. Good luck to the Seminoles the rest of the way. With Clemson and UofL in your division, you've got a hard row to hoe.

With the 2 T/O's at the end Jimbo Fisher should have called running plays and burned up just a little more clock. Oh well, hind sight is 20:20. See ya next year.

you're a class act...i'd be irate, honestly...in fact, i was hoping we would've let you score to give us more time.

cook is the real deal...good luck the rest of the way...beat the shit out of state

do we play next year?

Neither team deserved to lose but just like the Clemson/Louisville contest it was a great game down to the wire and fun to watch on TV. FSU like Carolina has a tremendous offense and a suspect defense and then game just came down to who had the ball last. Hats off to FSU who did not fold when down 21-0 and to UNC who found a way to win.

OK..........so here's my "I have an ACC Dream" speech..........

"I have a dream that recruits across the land will look up and see that teams in the ACC are knocking on the door of greatness. And those very highly rated recruits will begin to realize their best opportunities to play early and achieve greatness with recognition are in the ACC.

I have a dream.........

** Highly rated defenders will go to the University of North Carolina.

I have a dream.........

** Highly rated defenders will go to Florida State University.

I have a dream.........

** That Bobby Petrino will continue to find diamonds in the rough and the University of Louisville will continue to challenge the best teams in the nation.

** I have a dream..........

That Mark Richt will bring the University of Miami back to their former glory days by tapping into the best talent pool in the nation in South Florida.

I have a dream.........

That Clemson will play for the National Championship this year.

** I have a dream.........

That the new coaches at Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Boston College and Virginia will turn their programs around. And that NC State, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Duke and Georgia Tech will find ways to gain respect nationally by knocking off out of conference foes on a regular basis.

And one day little boys and little girls will sit and listen to their parents and grand parents tell them how once upon a time a maligned ACC rose to become the Nationally Dominant Conference in College both football and basketball. :)

PS. Actually it's happening now right before our very eyes!

The ACC is ascending.

With the exception of NVSU beating anybody, I like your dream. I do agree that the ACC is coming on in football. We may have the best group of coaches we've ever had.

WE do have an exceptional group of coaches. And they make a difference. A big one over time.

Yeah our 2017 schedule is brutal. The home slate is fantastic for fans though: Cal, Notre Dame, Louisville, Duke, Miami, and then the meh games of Virginia and Western Carolina
Here is my thought about Cal: Will the Golden Bears have a new HC?

Sonny Dykes should be a hot commodity now. And he is well known to want a job in the South, and not just southwest. He was interested in UVA last year.

Not to mention we lose Peterson, Crowley, and Heck off our OL.
True, but we'll be in the 6th year of recruiting under Fedora/Kapilovic. We finally have the luxury of redshirting OL recruits instead of playing them as underclassmen. The projected starters all will be in at least their third year in the program:

LT - Spain (Sr.)
LG - Polino (RS So.)
C - Hatton (RS So.) or Henson (Sr.)
RG - Prince (Sr.)
RT - Heck (RS So.)

Lack of game experience is always a concern, though.

Mr. Sweet will have something to say about this projected starting lineup I have to believe.

What do you think the chances are that Naz will leave after this year? Mikey Bart, Des Lawrence, and Dominiquie Green are listed as our only Senior starters on our defense two deep list.

Small. My opinion, he'll only leave if he's worried about his health (concussions and the like). In terms of draft stock, he's not ready.

Additionally, M.J. Stewart has been considered a lock to leave by a lot of fans, but his stock isn't very high right now at all.

Hopefully, we can expect our defense to improve a little then. It's a shame our defense isn't a little better in a year when our offense is great, we could really go places. Call me an eternal optimist, but I'm still hoping to see defensive improvement as the year progresses.

i don't know, we only had 23 seconds left on our own 25 yard line. that's not a lot of time. don't be too hard on fisher.

i think we are seeing improvement on defense. cook is one of the best running backs in the country and he didn't have a great game against us by his standards.
